Our story

“The story of Bizaline started in 2015, when we first met and immediately felt like we could complement each other. Edward had developed software with a small team to help manage complex projects. Antoinette had just founded her consultancy business and noticed how her clients struggled to find an effective digital way of working to execute and monitor their strategies.

We decided to join forces and were able to expand over the past years, with an incredibly fun and talented team in Utrecht and with developers across the world. The further development of our software is a major priority. Since 2016, we have been selling licenses directly to our clients.

In the past years, we have build a close-knit team as well as a wider network of people who collaborate with us. As a result, we have been able to continue growing year by year: we currently have more than 40 clients in five different countries. Companies and organisations across the world have found us, from a Native American tribe in Wisconsin to a hospital in Saudi Arabia and high tech companies in Asia. And we’re also welcoming more and more new clients referred to us by existing ones.”

 

Meet the founding partners

“After my MBA, I started working at the Dutch National Railways. In 2000, I moved to the predecessor of Abellio Group, aimed at winning and operating public transport concessions outside the Netherlands. We built the company from the ground up with a small group of people. As Marketing Director, it was my role to win tenders and take over the contracts. When I left London in 2013, the company's annual revenues had grown to €2 billion.

In my role as consultant, I enjoy the challenge of re-writing the story of an organisation from scratch. Where are we going, and why? How can we stand out? How can we improve the management? I like to invest in long-term relationships with clients, to be involved for several years with strategy execution and adjustment. I encourage our clients to invest in a strong strategic framework and to make bold choices. You can really see an organisation transform over the course of a few years.”

“My parents are Dutch and emigrated to Australia, where I was born. I studied information sciences and business there. In 1998, I came to the Netherlands and met my wife. For years, I worked at banks and insurers (Nationale Nederlanden, ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank) as an IT architect, business analyst and strategic consultant. Starting in 2009, I began to develop software to deliver my projects in a controlled way. This software became the foundation on which Bizaline was built.

Digitalisation offers an opportunity for every organisation: you can respond much more dynamically to situations when you have real-time insights in your performance. Our software is designed to help successfully implement change programmes and strategies in organisations. My strength is working with very complex environments and answering the core questions: formulating clear goals and a strategic plan, and offering a suitable information architecture to keep delivery under control. In the process, achieving results for society as a whole is an important driver for me.”
